The reward scheme is something AWOP have put in place. We have no need or responsibility to do so. Our affiliate earnings are ours to do with as we please. We choose to develop the reward scheme. We could do nothing and retain all monies for ourselves but we don't. We have some 14 affiliations with different sites on AWOP all of which provide an income to help finance our business and contribute toward running costs....that's how we function as a business.
As for providing details...I say again it is none of anyone's business.

I will try and contact Mr Mac and see whether we can sort something out so as his players can also play in our games, should be easy enough to sort out.

Let's rephrase this and turn it on it's head...

Calling all players who have requested to play a game using their points...How many times have you been told that you can't play what you want???

The ONLY issue or concerns being brought up here are being brought up by you who has nothing to do with the players club...Wonder where all the members are, you know the ones, those you seem so concerned about. Thety're pretty silent eh    Wonder why?

Or we could ask how many players had decent amounts of money in awops account that they didnt know about and never would have known about if people hadn't raised concerns on the forum! I can start the list off,

Doublebubble £60+
Imonebayhoney £50+

Or you could just copy and paste the entire list yourself?? I'm guessing you dont want to do that though?

Are my personal finances of any interest? People on this forum dont affiliate to Nat West through my bank account in the expectation that they will share the benefits. The Fox stated awop retain all points/monies that do not get claimed by members, i think it's a fair question to ask how much has been retained. Until i asked the question i didn't know it was a secret.

Are all the players within the players club of interest to you??? NO...There is NO secret to any funds which have been accrued by any player, all they need to do is ask as I have said before. Hopefully not for much longer.

Why would we post what everyone has, do you see bank publishing their clients account details...Again NO. That is exactly what the Club is, a bank account which holds a live fund for it's members so why would I publish it. Before you say it I'll say...But bank send out a statement every month...Yes they do and that is what NoCash is trying to do for us.

My views on the Awop affiliate and Players Club are :

I can understand why one or two doubters on this site have been asking probing questions, but every point has been answererd clearly and directly by the Admin and Mods.
I am speaking as a neutral I have no friendships with anyone who has posted on this thread.

I know there has been some confusion about whether you are automatically a Players Club member or not when clicking on the Genting link, & also how the affiliate to Awop is beneficial etc. (and I have been guilty of being confused myself).

The added value on offer here is in my opinion a fantastic deal for all poker players online and in casinos. It is a no lose situation for us because we are in effect receiving 'rakeback' . Basically we are getting points as we play over and above anything we win, this in turn can be exchanged for buy-ins to b & m tournaments.

I know that human nature makes us suspicious but I don't understand why people can be so critical to the point of being rude. I am not interested in the organisers commission, just as I am not interested in getting involved in all the hard work that must be being put in behind the scenes.
We as players should be happy that we are getting summert fer nowt.

Suppose it's a bit like paying for Booze, Petrol, groceries or anything else...why shop there? Because they have the best offers or the best location...whatever the reason that's your choice. Do you concern yourself with how much they make for their sales or services...somehow I doubt it. What would their response be if a customer said " By the way how much to you retain for yourselves"? They might have own brands that are cheaper..but not everyone chooses them. If you don't like the brand or service or offers...you go elsewhere. AWOP's no different...if you don't like what we offer ...go elsewhere same as you would in any other enviroment.
By the way...that is for the benefit of our PC Members. :D :D :D

"I think everybody has worked that out for themselves!" There is nothing to work out. Not sure what part of "It is none of your business" you are having difficulty understanding in exactly the same way that your business is of no concern to anyone else. For an intelligent bloke at times you are pretty stupid.

Things are getting out of hand here. I can see both sides of the arguments being stated and it is clear there is a disparity between the PC and the points/rake being generated.

I'm sure it will all be cleared up when the new operating system is in place, but I also think it is important that AWOP put a clear deadline on this and stick to it.

I am currently in a situation where I am playing more online than I have in recent months and with the plethora of rakeback schemes and bonuses available it is important to me that I choose the site/skin offering me the best deal. I am sure other members are in the same boat and would like to see there account details to see what 'bang for their buck' they are getting from the PC.

I am of course happy to be patient as I'm sure most members are. However, I would like a timescale and a deadline for these issues to be resolved by.

Until then I think that Alistair and Chris be left to conduct their business. I would also like to make it clear that I am 100% sure that Alistair and Chris have the member's best intentions in mind with everything they do with the players club and AWOP in general. I think certain people could take a moment to consider the work that goes in behind the scenes in running a website and players scheme like this.
A moment to learn, a lifetime to master

The major cog in the wheels relate to Dave "No Cash" completing the task he has so kindly agreed to help us with which will provide the automated reporting system. As he is performing this task over and above his normal work schedule and it is very much his area of expertise then we have to wait on him. I understand from The Cub that he is making headway but I would not like to commit to a timescale until Dave is happy with the system. I have a meeting with Admin tomorrow to address a number of topics and all being well I feel sure we will be all systems go for January 1st which has always been the target.
Here's an interesting thing and I am glad you, of all people, have posted....no doubt I will be accused of a set up, but you mentioned that you are playing a lot more Online this month. I can confirm that as at today you are the biggest raker on the AWOP Network this month and will be entitled to all the benefits mentioned. Hope that cheers you up hutch. :D :D :D

i for one can certainly say that I am happy with the rewards I have won/earned with the PC and think it has been of great benefit and "value" to myself as I dont often rake alot on Genting.I can understand people asking questions if they have concerns or if they think they are not getting their monies worth especially if they play alot of cash.
You have to weigh up the pros and cons and decide if it suits you individually.I can honestly say I get more out than I put in.
I appriciate the time and effort put in by AWOP and the admin involved and so even if I was slightly out of pocket I would still be happy. Example I got a call of Cub today while at work to advise me I had not registered for the league final tonight which I had pushed AWOP to set up over the last 8 months.I was not even aware it was the final tonight but just another league leg that I was going to play SO CHEERS CHRIS.
I have always got my points balance when I have PMd Cub,sometimes may have to remind him or wait a couple of days but he did have other issues going on at the time, so fair do's.
I can say I am happy with any rewards I get and best of luck if AWOP benefit too after all its not a registered charity and needs funds to survive.Does anybody complain about what happens to the rake that Genting take? should they give it all back? of course not its a buisness. There may be "better" deals about but this suits me fine and thanks AWOP.
GL ALL IN TONIGHTS VALUE ADDED LEAGUE FINAL! (even when I go out after 5mins its free added value)

Just my input.i asked Cub how much was in my Players Club account as i wished to play in one of the Blackpool mega stacks.i received a quick reply telling me exactly how much i had, and was bought into the event no problem.Always found the AWOP team helpful genuine down to earth folk and to suggest they are deliberatley withholding information from forum members regarding money i thinks bloody rude tbh.
The Players Club and the former Virgin VIP club has been great for forum members over the last few years resulting in some cases of substansial winnings for the grassroots players it was designed for.
Im suprised you havent brought this up yourself INTRIX as you love spending time trawling through old forum posts.Would be refeshing now and again to see you make positive points about TPC instead of just generally negative ones.
Must admit after making a huge issue about a couple of negative points concerning the running of IPE you have been fairly quiet than in previous months, and now when a negative issue about TPC has been raised youve jumped on it,dissecting peoples previous posts etc etc.
i know youll prattle on about this being a forum for airing views blah blah but come on,it just seems to be you just like stirring trouble on negative issues on this forum 90% of the time. How about some positive posts more often.
