This is great news and I can now finally put it in my diary.
I am really looking forward to this “play off” as I'm sure the other finalists will be as well, the fact that it's going out live on The Nutz TV is great as well.
Without AWOP behind the tour this year it would not have taken place and we would have been left with just the one recognised tour.
I would like to thank AWOP and The Nutz TV who have done a brilliant job in lifting this revamped tour back onto the poker calendar at short notice and giving us poker players an alternative to the GUKPT tour.
Gala / Coral casino’s staff and management have also done a brilliant job throughout the year, working alongside AWOP getting the festivals up and running and they also deserve recognition.
Also, a big mention for the Tee-side lads (and ladies) who, with their company make these festivals a pleasure to play.
Good luck to the other finalists.

Best of luck to you Steve.
Have to say it's not a brilliant structure for a £10,000 prize pool. Wish I was playing though.

Good luck Steve.
Wish I could be there to rail but I'm representing England on that day and day after in Luton in the European Team Championships

Good Luck to Steve Holden for Thursday night. I'm sure you'll come away with the title/trophy/cash! TID!
Best of luck to all the other entrants but Stevie's my choice FTW.

Having played against both Trett and Brammer I think one of them will take it down.

OK, wanted to have a bet in support of fellow nigsquadder Chris Brammer (the one with the giant head) but couldn't find a market anywhere, so I made my own. Seems like a lot of people are interested in this final so if you want a bit of a punt on it too, get in touch here. Odds:
Finalists:-
Leg 1 :- Jim O’Connell 8/1
Leg 2 :- Tom McDonald 7/2
Leg 3 :- Mark Trett 10/1
Leg 4 :- Chris Brammer 11/4F
Leg 5 :- Steve Holden 6/1
Leg 6 :- John Gardner 12/1
Online League :- John Littler 14/1
Money Winners League:- Richard Lewis 8/1
Max bet $30, but ask me for more on the shorter prices and I'll try to accommodate. I'll post replies in this thread to say when a bet is booked, then you can send payment on stars. The whole book will be done via stars transfer, my account is 'skolsuper' (Bury St Edmunds), only bets where payment is received before the start of the tournament will play, payments sent after this will be refunded.

I'm sure cctv and the tower can vouch for me as an existing person at least, and plenty of people on other forums can vouch for me as trustworthy and reliable.
GL everyone. Punt away!

I could hardly back anyone else as I could be seen to be swinging the result. Nice to see that you favour the "Young Guns" and you consider us oldies as the underdogs - $50 sent on stars on that old fekker Steve Holden
