ok Joking aside this is still not helping the problem in hand. At the end of the day the OP still can not get on to this site so any help would be appreciated. I have not got a clue why you decided to pick a fight with me other than the web joke about Nettos which you have more than made Obvious you had a hand in. I will now refuse to get into a slanging match and picking at grammar and spelling is still not helping anything.

Right,first the good news i'm a able now to acess this site via my home desktop and laptop,it would appear that for whatever reason my ip address had been barred.(seemingly a mistake)

The bad news is, this was a genuine post by someone who feels no shame in admitting when it comes to pc illteracy i'm not up to speed so when "genuine" professional people offer to help sort a pc problem i had no hesitation in accepting there offer of help.
I have spoke to Dave and pm'd Steve and have raised my concerns of having put dave in a compromising position,and by accepting there help gave other people a "window" of oppurtunity to have a dig and question there integrety
.Dave with "my" permission accessed my computor and at all times talked through exactly what he was doing.He is a "bloody nice bloke" as anyone who has met him will tell you.This guy went out of his way until 2am sat morning trying to sort this problem (almost 4 hrs).We had an absolute blast trying to get to the bottom of this,and feel quite annoyed that a fellow IT specialist chose to use this forum to wage a personal war. I have apologised to dave for putting him in a posistion in having to defend himself against malicious and un-warranted posts.

Dave your a star and a credit to this site.

Ant1966 I was glad to be of help and thank you for your reply its proved to the doubters that this 69 year old non educated fool actually does know a little about computers. And that I was on the right lines with the blocked IP. I would like to apologise to everyone that had to read my explosive posts with another member, and I hope this has now all ended. I may have gone the wrong way about replying in anger and I may even have read what was said wrong(Reminds me of the Netto Saga), but to me It looked like I was getting accused of not knowing what i was doing and leaving a members computer open for attack. This is not very Ethical for someone who's job is maintaining computers and the customer needs to have full trust in the person who does repairs. If Ant1966 ever had a similar problem or anybody else for that matter I would do the same again and spend time helping them sort it out. If we all stick to what we are good at then there is never a problem.

Ant51966 is now happy to be able to view AWOP and this was in fact why I decided to help in the first place. So mission accomplished !!!

Yes I blamed his ISP for blocking AWOP IP so you can claim the reward pebblesue Edit >> and thank you everybody else whos input helped fix Ants problem.

I used to try and run programs to auto build sitemaps which would trawl every page of the site and they kept blocking me.

And just to point out you requested advice which was given when he suggested to uninstall VNC, as this is a HUGE security risk which followed by you not understanding and thinking he was accusing you of stealing people's credit card details????????

He was giving you some advice to protect a member of this forum, which is not his responsibility and which you ask for and then you are offended as you think he's questioning your integrity by doing some malicious on purpose.
