Im suprised nothing has been said more about this....

Clearly a dive and if it was a foreigner im sure the English press would of made more of it.

Is it because he is one of Englands best players?

Anyone else got any thoughts on this?

CHEAT........... He should have been sent off.... Also the ref should be chastised and banned from football for giving this decision....

Gerrard is a legend.

Makes a change to see an English player diving rather than that greasy Portugese Manc b@stard.

At least he didn't roll around like he'd been tazered for 5 minutes.

Plus, as Rafa said; if it was outside the box it would've been a free kick.

Well as a Liverpool fan I would say it was hardly a dive but Gerrard knows full well that the speed he comes into the box at if someone touches him its a good chance he will get a penalty but it is only when in the box his body contorts like this but if refs keep giving him pens he is hardly going to stop is he.

Steven Gerrard's absolutely class as a player, but along with having the personailty of a plant pot is unfortunately England's worst cheat when it comes to the penalty box area.

(Mind, he does share this love of the dive with many loyal honest englishmen, most notably perhaps, his fellow scouser Owen)
