Gala Shorthanded Deepstack Take 2 !!!

After yesterdays success, I decided to give this another whirl today.

No guarantee this time, but 155 runners at $20 a pop have generated a prize pool of $3.1k.

The bubble has just burst and aggressive play from me on the bubble has put me in with a shout.

Currently 2/16 with 53k.

2/13 now............ Not getting involved really, just maintaining my stack. I was ultra aggressive near the bubble and fear I have absolutely no table image left at all lol.

broke down to final two tables.

No massive stack, lots of guys around 30-40k. I have 59k and am still second. Couple of short stacks but not the kind of situation I can do much stealing in.

Also have the chip leader on my table which will slow me down too!

3rd break.......... Still 2/11.

A little frustrated........ I want to start pushing these guys around, but I have the top 4 stacks in the comp out of 6 players on my table. The stack sizes and blinds (2k/4k) are getting to to the point where if you raise and a a stack of 30kish pushes you have to call.

The other table has the small stacks and I want to get on there and bully em!

2 more people to go before the next money bubble.

Just sickoed someone........... delicious.

I raise the button to 12k on button with A2 spades, he pushes for 11k. Insta-call from me, he flips AJ but I make a wheel.

Hutch upto 82k now with 9 left. CL has 86k so nothing in it!!

Yeah, doing ok Widow. I don;t play too much online poker these days, but in half term I thought I'd set myself a target of $2k profit. If I can win that, I'll buy-in to the main event at the Northern Lights with the money.

Just over $1k at the moment, but potentially a decent payday here.

Just broke to the final table as Hutch eliminates another.

Raise the button with QJ........... flop 7QJ two diamonds.

Villain moves all in, snap-call from Hutch and he flips KT diamonds.

Yikes!

The jack on the turn was delicious and I move upto Chip Leader on 131k.

aaaagggggh, so frustrating.

Lost 90k when I pushed with TT in SB and got snap called by AJ. Obviously the J hits on the river and I'm crippled.

Push with QJ on button next hand and same guy has QK.

5th for $179.
