What a great site this is, im total hooked, theres so much info on here , its got so much to give and everyone is helpful and friendly, i know that any questions or problems i have will be answered properly un like some of sites that i have writen on. It sure has,welldone, i will be telling all my friends about this site at the local casinos i play in, ramsgate groveners & cascades in margate. 2006 is a big year for me in my poker, I will be playing in lots of festivals. Im moving up a gear, from small comps to bigger ones, starting with Luton in Janurary.

Thanks R....comments like that make it all worth while...we try very hard to accomodate every question and query. A Number of us will be at Luton and we may actually be covering the Main Event in our live updates, so remember to introduce yourself to Team AWOP when you are there.

I will be probley playing in the £300 shoot out on the friday, or the sunday £100 game. You cant miss me im the girl with the pink hair. I will keep everyone up to date on my progress thought the year. My friend sophie has joined the site too, she thinks the site great too...All the best to ya...

Hi everyone! I'm Sophie, Ruths friend. As Ruth said this is a good site, haven't had much time to have a proper look yet but am already liking it! I'm a poker beginner, I started watching on tv, then played free online games so I could learn what check and all that was, then I went to a texas hold'em tutor night at Ramsgate and the following friday played in the tournament, a couple of weeks later met Ruth at the ladies night and she said 'you've got to be more aggressive'. I asked her to teach me and she's been helping ever since. Thanks to her i've won lots of 1st, 2nd, 3rd place online and at home, 3rd in the ladies and 10th in the main tournament. I only play £5 rebuys at the mo so won't be playing at Luton but I might come and watch, my Mum lives there so gives me a chance to see her too!

Thanks for a brill site, and Happy New Year, i'm off to play poker!! Razz

Hi poppet...great to have you with us and we love beginners on here because you are the future of this great game we play. Loads of experienced players on here who are more than willing to help. Our very own "Pro" Malcolm "The Rock" Harwood is due to appear as a presenter on PokerZone the TV Channel Sky 226 tomorrow night, 2nd January, and you can text or e-mail him any questions you may have. It is a very good program and worth the watching.
