If anyone could help us out here I'd be much obliged. I have a Toshiba laptop with monitor ut so i decided to get a 22 inch monitor to run from it so i could have dual screens and multi table. I got a Hyundai N220W . I run Vista and I got it working a few times but the last time took me about an hour of plugging the monitor, turning it on and off, turning my computer on and off, messing about with the display settings in Control panel and using the graphics options to get it working.

Now it won't work at all and I messed up by changing the output picture to the Monitor, so now when i plug the monitor into my laptop both screens go black as the laptop is using the monitor as an output but it isn't showing anything.

Has anyone done this with any success and know the trick to make it work each time i plug it in straight away?

Thanks..
