Highest Game of Poker Marks Arrival of World Series of Poker Europe, presented by Betfair



Taking Texas Hold Em to the next level, the highest game of poker hit the UK to mark the arrival of the legendary World Series of Poker Europe, presented by Betfair.



Taking in panoramic views of the city, the exhibition game played at 50m near Tower Bridge was hosted by 19 year old Champion Annette Obrestad who won last year’s WSOPE event and walked away with £1 million pounds cash and the coveted WSOPE bracelet. Joining her at the table was fellow Betfair pro 23 year old John Tabatabai from London who was looking for revenge having finished runner up in last year’s inaugural event. This year’s tournament will bring together the biggest names in World and European poker along with unknown online qualifiers all gunning for the £1 million first prize.

The World Series of Poker Europe takes place from the 19th September – 2nd October and will take place at The Empire Casino at Leicester Square.
