I'm not sure the cardroom manager was correct here.
Two players in the pot and all the money goes in on the turn card. The board reads Ac Ad 3c 7c
The caller flips over Ah Kh and the original better throws his cards in the air onto the pot of chips which is situated beneath the board cards. It was obvious that he thought he could not win the hand, however on landing on the uneven chips one card turns over and it is the Kc. By this time the river card had been dealt making a four card flush so obviously the Kc on its own would have won the pot.
The remaining card was easily identifiable even though it was face down which was then turned over by the dealer.
All *bleep* breaks loose as the player who was obviously trying to muck his cards then says 'flush wins!' but the caller doesnt see it this way and argues that he mucked his hand...
What is the ruling? |

Cards speak but only if they havent touched the muck...dealer should have killed the hand by ensuring one card touches the muck BEFORE river was dealt..players can pass but cards should be killed if that is how they want to play _________________ Flair for show nutz for dough...better to be lucky than good |

Er, wouldnt/shouldn't have dealt the river if he'd mucked the hand ... _________________ Ascot
