With 3 players left we draw to the conclusion of the first event the $10k PLHE
Nenad Medic has the button in Seat 8. He raises to 300,000, Kathy Liebert moves all in for 850,000, Andy Bloch re-pots to 2,800,000, and Medic moves all in. Bloch has both Liebert and Medic covered. And the crowd gets on their feet as the cards are turned over..

Heads Up BABY !!!
Hinkle bested the largest field ever in non main event by outlasting 3,928 other competitors to take home the title. When asked about his decision to quit his job he said that was a decision he won't rush into. "I don't know yet...I need to talk it over with my wife and my family...we'll see," he said........... _________________ "The motto of chivalry is also the motto of wisdom; to serve all, but love only one. WSOP 2008 Event 2 $1,500 NLHE Ep1 1/5
With a record-breaking 3,990 starting players, the $1,500 Holdem event didn't go down without some pain. It took two consecutive marathon sessions, each featuring sixteen straight hours of live poker, to reach the climaxing moment.
Joe Rutledge Eliminated in 9th Place ($83,127)
Hand # 12 - Melvin Jones has the button in Seat #5. Joe Rutledge open-raises all in for 520,000 from middle position. All fold to Chris Ferguson in the big blind, who tanks for a minute before making the call. It's another race for Ferguson, Ferguson can do no wrong the last few levels of this tournament and is rewarded again. Rutledge is sent to the rail to collect $83,127. _________________ "The motto of chivalry is also the motto of wisdom; to serve all, but love only one. " IN HOC SIGNO VINCES " |
