Just stated playing omaha. (Heads in bits) Only playing micro at the moment and doing ok. Just want a bit of advice on what hands to play, obviously we know what the best hole cards in hold em are but in omaha (especially hi/lo) you've got more outs.
Ive been playing STTs because i do well in them, but should i play MTTs as i don't really like MTTs in hold em but again omahas a totally different game? |

Hi/ Lo is where you can split a pot with any 5 cards (using 2 from your hand and 3 from the board) under 8 eg, A2467 or A4578 etc then the pot is split between the winner and best low. But caution as you think you have best low but someone can have lower low!! The best low is A2345 as it can also win hi pot...confused. "$^%*%$*$***" Me too.
Ste I'm sure some experts can explain better LOL |

Quick advice on hi/lo (the game I mainly play) - as a beginner I'd say play pretty tight and that means more or less all of your hands should have an ace in them. A2xx is not the nuts and can get couterfeited easily. It's good to have three or four wheel cards as that gives you the chance to make the nut low/wheel. In tourneys play incredibly tight early on and only loosen up as it gets to the middle stages.
Gotsta go to sleep now so I may have more to say over the weekend if I think of owt _________________ Say to playing on tilt |
