Got a £20 plus £10 bounty headhunter tournament on Thursday (live). I know a few people play these on here. How should, or should I adjust my game? SHould I lower my calling range when faced with all in bets or should I just play it like a normal tournament and hope the oppurtunities come to take people out?

Advice appreciated

For me it depends on how much the headhunter is. As yours is £10 a head i would be gunning for the short stack no matter what, if i pick up a pair i will be setting them in, just try and get my money in as much as possible with a stack that cant damage me too much.

In a £30 and £5 head, then i would take a little more care in getting deeper in the money.

Aldo if you hav a hard desision to make for a coinflip and you have more chips in the all in i would always take it as you have extra equity for knocking them out.

Hope this helps.

Agree with CCTV ...you need to be a lot looser in these and try and get a big stack...school bully tactics should apply...good luck Static

Cheers guys, played one a month a go and ended up bubbling with zero bounties Embarassed

How about the other way round, your the shorter stack and are faced with being put all in. I folded a lot of small pairs and A10 and less in those situations (as I would in a normal tournament). Should I be going for hero calls for all my chips assuming in those situations the guys range is massive, or wait for better oppurtunities (assuming the blinds are still good to me)?
