|
|
I was playing in a Killer tournament on laddies. When i got involved in this hand. It was about the seventh hand into the tournament.
Any way it ended up where three of us ended up all in.
I won the hand with an Ace flush spades.
the second player had a Queen flush spades
the third player had trip Jacks.- player 3 was eliminated-.
However player 2, who had more chips than me at the start of the hand, was still in the tournament with only 1/4 of the starting stack, which was 2000.
This is what baffles me!
Player 2 was awarded the bounty for eliminating player 3 from the tournament
Can any one explain to me how.
As far as i am concerned, I had the best hand, and should have received the bounty.

All I can presume is that player three had more chips at the start of the hand than you, thus rendering it impossible for you to eliminate him. _________________ Say to playing on tilt |

Yep, its wierd but thats how it works, you took the majority of his chips but because you didn't actually eliminate him you dont get the bounty.
Close but no cigar. _________________ Its *bleep* but your bored so read it:

He couldn't win the hand, he didn't / couldn't win any chips at all, I won all the chips that were available in the pot, why should he get the bounty when i got all the other players chips and most of his?
Would be very suprised if it hapened this way in a live tourny
strange eh! cant hear what laddies have to say. _________________ Poker is all about making decisions. So when you make a bad decision, dont blame anyone else. |

It must be something like...
You had 1800 chips player two has 2000 and player three has 2000 chips.
Pot 5800 plus blinds or including blinds.
You could only win back 5400 plus/or including blinds.
You could not have put out the player as you didn't win the bounty, the other player with slightly more chips was the one who actually took him out with the side pot. |

At the start of the hand
I had 1750 chip
player 2 had 1825,
player 3 had 2120.
Its probably the reason that it worked like that,
cheers

| quiet obvious if u ask me ..... they both had more chips. if player 2 wasnt in the hand, player 3 would still be in because he started with more chips so you wouldnt of still taken his bounty .... . |
