Yes you could have by folding PF.#
You are going to be OOP against most other players with what is basically a drawing hand.
Why are encouraging action from UTG with this hand?
I could sympathise more if you had played it in an unraised pot from the CO or button.
For all you know the villain may have thought himself ahead or he was planning to float you and lets not forget.....
You called his big river bet after placing a weak river bet with second pair.
Sorry mate but you got what you deserved. |

A Substantial bet on turn may have been the answer 4000 was a weak bet if your going to represent then you must bet accordingly the river play well check call at best but yes the reraise at the end very easy to get away from _________________ Zen warrior fish |

On a more sober appraisal I have to agree it was a terrible play by me. I was just gobsmacked at the time to see him turn over A5.
