Well done Ascot...you seem to have an affinity with these GUKPT events....correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that three for three? _________________

Not quite Al, luckboxed my way to Walsall and Manchester by winning the AWOP VIP £1000 seat games against 8 or 9 opponents. (For which much thanks, grateful post in the VIP Club thread to follow)
Missed out on the one in between.
Luckboxed this one in a magazine freeroll against 639 cheapskates like myself. Hope I can make it to Day 2 this time, moving in the right direction!

Well done.
I was 14th with 98 left. Raised with 77 from UTG + 2 and called by CO.
Flop came K7K for a full house, I threw out a weak bet to look like a steal and he came over the top with a pot sized bet so I knew he had a K. I called the turn was a blank. He moves all in, I call, he flops KJ....and rivers his one outer for quads whilst I was getting ready to be zoomed into 4th place.
I was too in shock to be upset, lol. |
